Cole is a character in M3GAN. He is Gemma's co-worker at Funki who helps her in creating M3GAN, an artificially intelligent doll who can be used as a companion for lonely children. After learning about M3GAN's murderous tendencies, Cole, alongside Tess, solved and survived the events of M3GAN's killing spree.
Cole is portrayed by Brian Jordan Alvarez.
Biography[]
M3GAN[]
Cole is working at Funki and developing a new robot doll with her colleagues Gemma and Tess. However, their boss David Lin wants them to develop a cheaper version of the Purrpetual Petz since their rival companies are releasing their own toys similar to the Petz for less than the Petz already costs. The three try to put on a silicone face and do some testing, but the robot has a slight glitch where she's smiling when she's supposed to look confused. David comes with his assistant Kurt to chew on the three until Gemma explains her plan to him. The robot, M3GAN, is believed to be so advanced that it cannot be replicated. Unfortunately, while demonstrating for David, Cole realizes that he forgot to add the polypropylene barrier to the M3GAN, causing it to explode. David orders the three to get a new Petz prototype in time.
M3GAN attempts to hang Cole using a wire.
After M3GAN's killing spree, Gemma goes to see Tess and Cole and expresses her fears that M3GAN killed Brandon and Celia. Tess is highly skeptical that M3GAN could kill someone, even defending M3GAN. Tess and Cole plug M3GAN into wires to deprogram her and run diagnostics while Gemma brings Cady home. At night, Tess and Cole try to get into M3GAN's programming but can't unless they unhook her first. Cole goes to do it, and M3GAN quickly wraps a wire around his neck in an attempt to hang him. Tess goes to free him, and M3GAN triggers an explosion. The two survive this, however.
After Gemma seemingly defeats M3GAN at her own home, Tess and Cole go with the police to visit.
